Monsters Among Us

By Popovsky Performing Arts (other events)

3 Dates Through Oct 31, 2021

ABOUT ABOUT

Popovsky Performing Arts Studio is proud to present our 2021 Halloween Cabaret entitled Monsters Among Us. This spooktacular night of horror, camp, the macabre, and dread will find our audiences grappling with the question: What is a monster? This exploration of song and theatre showcases monsters in all their forms as they walk among us, from ghosts and ghouls to blood-thirsty prom queens, from dead moms and to distant fathers, and from the creatures of the nights to the children of the most villainous deities we know. You will find yourself re-evaluating who and what you think of as monsters and the origin stories of said monsters.

Join us on Halloween weekend, October 30 at 2 and 7 pm, and October 31 at 7 pm at 315 W James Street Lancaster 17603.

Restrictions

Popovsky Performing Arts Studio Covid-19 Statement

We are happy to welcome you back to live theatre and excited to share “Monster’s Among Us: A Halloween Cabaret” with you.

In the extended fight against those monsters among us, Popovsky Performing Arts Studio is joining with the cohort of theatres in central Pennsylvania, across the nation, and in line with the American Theatre League and Broadway in requiring that our audiences be masked for this live performance. All masks must completely cover the nose and mouth and comply with the CDC guidelines for acceptable face coverings.

We are committed to the safety of all those working on this production, from our actors to our crew, as well as all of our patrons in attendance. All members of our production team will be wearing masks throughout performances, and our actors will be utilizing face shields during our performances.

Will I need to wear my mask inside the theatre if I’m vaccinated?

Yes, due to rapid changes caused by the Delta variant and breakthrough cases, all patrons will be required to wear a facial covering upon arrival.

For the safety of our guests as well as our volunteer staff, all staff will be wearing masks.

Will I need to present my vaccination card to attend a performance?

No, currently we will not be requiring proof of vaccination to attend an event.

What if I am not feeling well on the date I have purchased tickets for?

We ask that if you have a fever or are experiencing any other COVID-related symptoms that you stay home. We will happily work with you to exchange tickets for another date or future event or work with you to exchange for the virtual streamed link of the performance.

While we are requiring masks, please note that patrons are fully and personally responsible for their own safety and actions and recognize that despite the implementation of Popovsky Performing Art Studio’s Health and Safety Protocol, they may in any case be at risk of contracting COVID-19. By purchasing a ticket, Patrons indemnify and hold harmless Popovsky Performing Arts Studio from any and all liabilities as related to COVID-19. There will be no refunds.
